ROOKIE DIVISION

New to strongman or still building your base? Start here.

Rookie is designed for everyday lifters who want to test themselves, have a crack at the events, and experience the atmosphere of competition without the more challenging elite-level loads.

This division is about stepping into the arena, experiencing competition .

Who belongs here:

  • First-time strongman competitors

  • You’re still developing your strength base

  • You train casually or recreationally

  • You want the experience

  • You’ve never podiumed in a higher-level strength comp

  • You scale strength workouts or avoid maximal loads regularly

Not for:

  • Experienced strongman athletes

  • Coaches, PTs, or competitive strength athletes

  • Athletes with extensive comp experience

  • Entering down due to a temporary injury

If you dominate Rookie, expect to move up next time.

ELITE DIVISION

This is where the heavy hitters live.

Elite is for athletes who train seriously, compete regularly, and can handle big weights under fatigue and pressure.

These events are designed to test complete strongman performance.

Who belongs here:

  • You train consistently year-round

  • You compete regularly in strength sports

  • Heavy weights are normal training for you

  • You’ve podiumed in Rookie/Intermediate comps previously

  • You move well under heavy load

  • You’re confident with max-effort events and fast-paced transitions

FINAL NOTES ON FAIRNESS:

The Farm Strong crew reserves the right to move athletes between divisions if needed to protect the integrity of the competition.

If you’re entering for fun — awesome.
If you’re chasing the podium — earn it honestly.

Choose the division that genuinely matches your current ability so everyone gets a fair crack and the comp stays competitive.
